Join us for the ultimate sailing adventure - an Atlantic crossing from Portugal to Antigua! This is a once-in-a-lifetime (ok, maybe twice-in-a-lifetime) opportunity to experience the thrill of sailing across the vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean, covering a distance of over 3000 nautical miles.
Our journey will start from the historic city of Lagos, Portugal, where we will prepare THE BOAT for the long voyage ahead. The first leg of the adventure will be for training and familiarization with the boat. We will set sail towards the Canary Islands, where we will make a brief stop to rest and replenish supplies.
From there, we will embark on the most challenging and exciting part of the trip - the 2000 nautical miles journey across the Atlantic to Antigua. This is a unique opportunity to experience the vastness of the ocean, the incredible beauty of the night sky, and the magic of sailing under the stars.
The trip will take approximately two-to-three weeks, during which you will have the opportunity to gain invaluable sailing experience, build sea miles, and make new friends. Our experienced crew will be with you every step of the way, ensuring your safety, comfort, and enjoyment throughout the journey.
This is a challenging adventure that doesn’t require an advanced level of sailing experience, but it does require patience and physical fitness. With the right preparation and a positive attitude, anyone can take part in this incredible journey.

The Ironbarque 72
The Challenge Ironbarque 72 is a true force to be reckoned with, ready to take on the Atlantic crossing with ease.
Built with a heavy gauge (5mm) steel hull, this vessel can withstand even the roughest of waters, providing a stable and secure platform for this epic journey. With stainless steel decks and a design that is both iconic and unbreakable, you can trust that this yacht will keep you safe and comfortable on your adventure.
Though updated for family cruising, the Ironbarque still holds true to her original design and feels rough around the edges but this raw metal gives it another level of safety. It’s like crossing the ocean in a military ship.
Your spot on the boat is only ???€, which includes […insert free stuff here]. But you’ll have arrange your own transportation to Portugal and from Antigua back home. Even if you choose to stay for the Caribbean Xperience, you still have to get back home at some point. If you don’t have any bad weather gear, then you’ll need to go on a shopping spree and ultimately this trip will cost you some of those days off you have been saving.
